Thangassery Light House - Kollam

Thangasseri Palace was a British enclave which governed the trade and commerce during the British Raj in India. The lighthouse was constructed in 1902 and it stands at a height of 144 feet. The beacon of the lighthouse can be seen as far as 13 miles into the sea and it serves its purpose pretty well for a lighthouse. One of the incredible views from the lighthouse is the setting of the Sun and rising of the Moon simultaneously and the dazzling sight will surely stay very special in any traveler’s heart.
